Como La Flor: A Valentine's Day Fashion Editorial

A local talent team comprised of photographer Sisilia Piring, wardrobe stylist Jillian Cainghug, prop stylist Aneta Florczyk, hair/makeup artist Carmen Dianne, and models Rochelle Yakubov and Vanessa Mendez recently got creative with a dark, moody Valentine's Day concept. With their editorial effort, titled "Como La Flor," the women wanted to feature the idea that femininity can be "sweet, but also a little complex." Using an assortment of traditionally romantic motifs, the series of photos offers a somewhat subversive take on the upcoming holiday—and the collaborative crew does so with a handful of local labels including LACAUSA, Pari Desai, Giu Giu, and LOQ.
